Logos and Branding

Helping guide the direction and “personality” of companies

The first item is an animation which shows the evolution of the Ad Mark Com/Advertising & Marketing Communications logo. The remaining images are logos I have created. Clicking on a logo thumbnail will take you to further information and an enlarged view.

Many times the client has no clear concept of what they do or do not want. I take a chunk of time at the project onset to brainstorm and present a range of options which can be refined as necessary for the final logo design. My job as your designer is to interpret the personality of the company you have founded and to convey that graphically.

Merriland Farm Café is a client that had never had a formal logo designed. Their business had grown from their mom’s initial dream for the historic farm, and sales of berry pies. Since there was customer confusion over the spelling of “Merriland”, I suggested we roll out the web site with the url MFarm.Cafe … easy to convey over the phone. The full range of logo concepts were presented with availability of web fonts in mind.

Camp Eaton has been my client since 1992. Over that time their logo has evolved from a design an employee had created prior to my coming on board. In 2013 (the 90th anniversary of the business opening), we did a major rebranding. You can view the logo concepts I presented to the client on THIS PAGE.

Clicking any logo goes to an image enlargement page.
